Our Story
Hanahana began from a simple want to truly feel confident in my own skin.
My journey began with rediscovering shea butter, a staple in my childhood, used by my mother for everything from muscle pains to dry skin.
This exploration not only rekindled my connection to my roots but also opened my eyes to the beauty industry's shortcomings in transparency and sustainability. My time with the remarkable Katariga Women in Tamale, Ghana, was a turning point, inspiring me to launch a business centered on empowering women of color and ensuring ethical, direct sourcing. Our mission at Hanahana Beauty is not just about skincare—it's about creating a positive impact and sharing knowledge that uplifts our community.
